By submitting an application and participating in the World Star Competition (“Competition”), I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

I certify that all information provided in my application is true and accurate. If I am under the age of eighteen (18), this Agreement must be signed by my parent or legal guardian.

2. Competition Rules

I agree to follow all Competition rules, deadlines, performance requirements, and instructions issued by World Star Competition and its representatives. Failure to comply may result in disqualification without refund.

3. Code of Conduct

I agree to conduct myself in a professional and respectful manner throughout the Competition.

The following are prohibited:

• Offensive or discriminatory behavior

• Harassment or bullying

• Foul language

• Offensive, inappropriate, or explicit lyrics

• Unsportsmanlike conduct

• Actions that may damage the reputation of the Competition, organizers, judges, sponsors, contestants, or audience members

World Star Competition reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for conduct deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the Competition.

4. Performance Materials

Applicants who claim submit or perform original songs represent and warrant that such works are original or that they have secured all necessary rights and permissions for their use. Applicants shall be solely responsible for any claims, disputes, damages, or liabilities arising from copyright infringement, plagiarism, ownershp disputes, or the unauthorized use of intellectual property, and shall indemnify and hold harmless World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC, its affiliates, sponsors, representatives, and partners from any such claims.

5. Photography, Video Recording, and Media Release

I grant World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC, its affiliates, sponsors, representatives, and authorized partners the irrevocable right to photograph, film, record, livestream, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, and otherwise use my name, image, likeness, voice, performances, interviews, photographs, videos, and related materials in any media format worldwide for promotional, educational, advertising, sponsorship, archival, commercial, and competition-related purposes without additional compensation.

6. Judging and Results

All judging decisions are final.

Judges’ scores, rankings, placements, awards, and Competition results are not subject to appeal.

7. People’s Choice Award

Where applicable, the People’s Choice Award shall be determined by audience voting.

The contestant or group receiving the highest number of eligible votes shall be declared the People’s Choice Award Winner.

8. Prize

The Winner may receive:

• One original song and one music video with the creative control and production determined solely by World Star Competition and its designated producers, directors, and representatives.

• Trophy and recognition as the World Star Competition Winner

• Additional prizes as announced by the organizers

Prize details may be modified, substituted, or adjusted at the discretion of World Star Competition.

9. Participation in Prize Production

The Winner agrees to cooperate in recording sessions, rehearsals, filming sessions, promotional shoots, scheduling arrangements, and other reasonable activities necessary to complete the prize production.

10. Prize Forfeiture

If the Winner is unable, unwilling, or unavailable to participate in the recording and filming process within sixty (60) days following the Competition, or within another reasonable period designated by the organizers, World Star Competition may declare the prize forfeited.

In such event, the organizers may award the prize to the First Runner-Up.

11. Songwriting Copyright and Publishing Rights

The copyright in the underlying musical composition, including the lyrics and melody of any original song created as part of the Grand Prize (“Composition”), shall belong solely to the songwriter or songwriters who created the Composition.

The songwriter(s) shall retain all songwriter rights, publishing rights, and copyright ownership in the Composition.

World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC shall not acquire ownership of the Composition, publishing rights, or songwriter royalties.

The songwriter(s) shall be solely responsible for registering, administering, licensing, and collecting any publishing income associated with the Composition.

12. Ownership of Master Recording and Music Video

Upon completion of the Grand Prize production, ownership of the final master recording and music video shall belong exclusively to the Winner.

The winner shall have the right to distribute, exploit, monetize, license, and commercially use the master recording and music video.

13. Promotional Rights Granted to World Star

Notwithstanding the ownership rights described above, the contestant and winner grant World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, edit, publish, post, promote, and otherwise utilize:

• The contestant’s name

• Image and likeness

• Performances

• Photographs

• Audio recordings

• Video recordings

• The winning song

• The music video

• Behind-the-scenes content

• Promotional materials and related content

for promotional, educational, advertising, sponsorship, archival, and competition-related purposes.

No additional compensation shall be owed for such uses.

14. No Record Label, Publishing, Management, or Marketing Obligations

World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC are organizers of a talent competition and are not acting as a talent manager, personal manager, booking agent, record label, music publisher, entertainment agency, or legal representative of any contestant or winner.

Participation in the Competition does not create any employment, management, agency, partnership, joint venture, recording agreement, publishing agreement, distribution agreement, endorsement agreement, or other ongoing business relationship.

Except for the prizes specifically awarded through the Competition, World Star Competition shall have no obligation to provide:

• Artist management

• Career development

• Marketing services

• Public relations services

• Distribution services

• Publishing administration

• Booking services

• Sponsorship opportunities

• Recording contracts

• Label services

• Royalty collection services

• Business management services

Any promotion, publicity, social media posting, advertising, interviews, features, or exposure provided by World Star Competition shall be entirely voluntary and at its sole discretion.

Contestants and winners acknowledge that they are solely responsible for managing their own careers, marketing, promotion, publishing, distribution, licensing, representation, royalty collection, and business affairs following the conclusion of the Competition.

No contestant or winner shall have any claim against World Star Competition or World Star USA LLC arising from any expectation of future representation, management, promotion, marketing, recording opportunities, publishing opportunities, distribution opportunities, endorsements, or commercial success.

15. Independent Relationship

Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, or fiduciary relationship between any contestant and World Star Competition and World Star USA LLC.

16. Release and Limitation of Liability

I release and hold harmless World Star Competition, World Star USA LLC, organizers, sponsors, judges, volunteers, employees, contractors, affiliates, venues, and representatives from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my participation in the Competition, except where prohibited by law.

17. Competition Changes and Cancellation

World Star Competition reserves the right to modify schedules, venues, rules, judging procedures, prize structures, or other Competition details when reasonably necessary.

The organizers may postpone, reschedule, suspend, or cancel the Competition due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Agreement, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions.
